As an artist, my creative practice centres on the idea of collective liberation through creative expression!

I write what I like to call “feel good social realism,” wrapping up big conversations in pockets of humour, romance, fantasy and drama, blending activism with wit, and poetry to interrogate societal constructs. Because if you don't laugh, you'll cry.

Through my work, I create transformative, escapist work for audiences seeking both authenticity and mysticism.

My debut novel, Eden Rebellion was published in collaboration with BBC Books, Penguin Random House and Doctor Who! A childhood dream come true. I also write for stage and screen, working with theatres and production companies all over London!

As well as being a writer, I’m a director and facilitator. I love to transfer my skills to support artists at all stages of their journey to reach the fullness of their creative potential. I’m obsessed with new stories. I love finding an artist’s creative voice and channelling it through literature - getting into the nitty gritty of character, world and structure.

If I had to choose another source of fuel outside of food, storytelling - in all its forms, would be high on the list. It’s my favourite thing to get nerdy about!

working with me…

I’ve written and directed across mediums from page to stage and screen, everything from solo plays to large ensemble musicals! I love working across genre, my favourites are sci-fi, comedy, fantasy and musicals.

I’ve written personal stories and to a brief and worked both as a commissioned freelance writer as well as a writer on attachment.

I’ve written for young artists and seasoned professionals and I know this wealth of personal experience as a writer makes me a better dramaturg!

I know what it takes to make tell a story effectively and I love to support artists in bringing their stories to life!

As a human being, my existence is inherently political. I embody an unending range of narratives shaped by my diverse identities. I possess the ability to view narratives through both personal and political lenses.

I am empowered to share stories that reflect...

colonial histories, immigrant stories, the queer experience , narratives rooted in religion, Black stories, neurodivergent narratives, women centred perspectives, tales of masculinity and so much more...

Most importantly, I can recognise the intersections among these stories, providing a more comprehensive and nuanced viewpoint.
